THE ST.KIZITO KNIGHTS OF THE ALTAR
The 1st batch of Mass servers were initiated on the 7th May 1989 after nine months intensive training in discipline,decency,spirituality etc.

Due to the spirituality, some of the young servers were inspired and entered into the major seminary namely, Gabriel Liashiedu,John Mensah,James Ahenkorah,Ignatius Atipoe who are now priests.
There had not been any investitive ceremony in the Diocese until St.Kizito initiated Mass servers in 1989.
There after that other parishes deem it worthy to initiate servers.

After the initiation of St.Kizito Knights in 1989.Mass servers rally had been organized fro the then Accra Diocese consisted of Koforidua
Diocese. St.Kizito won the Ist position with seven Knights out of ten obtaining prizes and Holy family, Mataheko the 2nd with 3prizes out of 10 reps.The best winner for the juniors group was James Ahenkorah who obtained 100%.
Kizito Servers were a judged the best servers in the Diocese with high regards. Servers were tested by Cathedral reps on the various Liturgical aspects mass servers ought to know and the examiners praise them as the best that Cathedral servers could not be compared.
